For you guys with crappy phone service that have trouble getting signal in my basement, I have added a Guest Login to my network. So if you can't go a poker game without losing your mind because you can't check your Facebook account, you can now use the WiFi to do so.

A little late, but better late than never. I finished the awards script on the site today. New awards have been added to players based on their per season and all time play. The All Time awards update themselves automatically after each posted game. The player with the most current awards after this update is Alex B. with 6 awards. I'm sure he wished he only had 5 though... Hope to see everyone next Saturday as we start off the new season!

Season 2012 Schedule (dates subject to change) January 14th January 28th February 25th March 10th March 24th April 21st May 5th May 19th June 9th June 23rd July 21st August 4th August 25th (2012 Adam Game) September 15th September 29th October 13th November 3rd November 17th December 1st December 8th (Championship Game) Top 9 in points are invited to the Championship Game. 7 Games must be played to qualify for Championship Game.

Sorry for the late update guys... Season 1 is officially in the books. For those of you that don't already know, Weeble took down the Championship game. He is the first SPL Champion! Congrats to him, and congrats once again to everyone that qualified for that game. If you didn't make that game (and some of you barely missed it), there's always next season. :) The results from the Championship game will be updated onto the website in due time. I'm in the process of redoing a lot of the database of the website, to get to ready for new features being added to the site, so stay tuned. I hope you all had fun this year! The schedule for next years season is in the process of being made. If it's not out within the next couple of days, I'm sure it will be out by the end of the weekend. For what it's worth, if I had to pull a date off the top of my head, I'd assume the first game of the 2012 season will be on Jan. 14th. That's not official yet, though that'll probably be it. There will also be a few changes to next season, which I will go over in detail before the season starts. If I don't see some of you before the start of the next season, have a happy and safe Christmas and New Years!

Rule #21 was added on 11-20-11.

On 11-20-2011 at approx. 3:26AM, Harper Grace Jackson was born. This is Brandon & Cassie's second child (and second daughter). She was 8lbs. 10oz.

The Hall of Fame page on the site is now open. There's not much to it yet. It's still, as you can see, a work in progress. It's coming along though. I'm sure I'll finish it sometime with the next ten years.

After last nights exciting game determining the final slots of the championship game, this first season comes to a close. Congrats to Kyle for sliding into the 9th spot. Hope you all had fun this year, and hope to see you all next year. The championship game will be taking place on Dec. 10th, and the results of that game will be posted afterwards. There will also be a vote shortly after the final game where players can vote on who they feel is the player of the year. Coming up for the next season, you will see many changes to the website, as well as a few rule changes that have been proposed. A list of next seasons game dates should be up for view within the next month. Keep tabs here or at the Facebook page for further information.

Only one more game this season guys! Nov. 12th and the open season comes to a close. This has the potential to be quite an interesting game. The point difference between 9th and 12th are small enough that any of those 4 players could walk away with the last remaining spot for the championship game in Dec. For those of you that won't be able to qualify for the championship game, this will be your last chance at a SPL game until next year sometime in January. Hope to see you all in Nov.!
