Alright guys. I have a Year 2014 schedule for ya. The Year 2014 Season will have some changes to it. To start the season will contain 12 total games. That includes 11 season games and 1 championship game. The blind/break schedule has also been slightly adjusted in hopes of knocking a little time of the total time of the games. We'll see in action if it makes a difference or not. Also, I'm going to revert how the championship game works back to how it was originally intended to be. The championship game will be a no buy in, winner takes all event. The whole purpose of the championship game in the first place was to have a night of free fun to decide the season champion. Other then that, no critical rule changes that I can think of off the top of my head. First game will be on January 18th, 2014. Hope to see you all there. Year 2013 is officially over. Last Saturday, the Year 2013 Championship Game was taken down by Keith Donnell. Keith is now the reigning champ. Brandon Jackson was the runner up, and Zulli came in 3rd. Congrats to Keith for taking down the game, and for a dominating season. All season awards have been added to the proper players profiles on the website. The 2013 season is complete, and the Top 9 for the 2013 Championship game is set. I hope everyone that played this year had a good time! Year 2013 is starting to come to a close. With only 2 games left the top 9 for the championship game is almost complete. Spots 1-7 are already locked up. Andy C. is sitting in 8th right now. He has a strangle hold on at least a top 9 spot, though mathematically he could still be knocked out. It was take an act of God though. Still very much up for grabs is that final spot. Colin D. and Josh C. are currently neck and neck with two games left. It would be the first championship game appearance for either player! Josh C. currently holds a small lead at that spot. Jason G. could sneak up in there for an upset with a little luck. As for the other spots, 1-7 are just fighting up more chips to start in the championship game. Just because you may not have a shot at making the championship game doesn't mean you can't play in the final two games. You can still play to have a good time and try to take down the individual game pots. You can also try to make things more difficult for those fighting for that final ninth spot! :) Hope to see you all at the final games!

Another Adam Game has come and gone. Hope all that attended had a good time. Congrats to Keith D. for taking down this years Adam Game, and Weeble for taking down both the side bets for High Hand of the Night, and Last Man Standing. There's five games left this season. This years Adam Game is one week away! The game will begin at 6pm. As always, this is a open event, and we hope to gain as many participants as we can. Feel free to invite anyone you feel may be interested in playing. Though note this is my home, and you will be personally vouching for anyone you invite. Buy-in for the game is $20. All players start with 10K in chips. Rebuys are allowed through the first 2 blind rounds. Rebuys are $20 for 10K in chips. One add on is allowed for any player under their original 10K in chips after the end of the 2nd blind round. A add on is $20 for 10K in chips. Help will be available for anyone interested in playing that lacks experience playing texas holdem poker. Bring a couple of extra $5 bills if you are interested in either of the side bets that will be running for this game. There will be a $5 side bet for last man standing. Winner takes all. There will also be a $5 side bet for high hand of the night. (Must use both hole cards. Any tabled hand is eligible.) *Side bets, rebuys, and addons are completely optional. Doors open at 3PM. Activities available between 3PM and 6PM include Beer Pong, Drinking, Billiards, Drinking, Darts, Drinking, Bags, etc. Though this event is BYOB, snacks/food will be provided during the game. A annual BBQ for family and friends of Adam will be held at 12PM (Noon). This BBQ is for family and friends of Adam only, and is by invite only. ** This game is will be available to the 1st 27 people who enter. The seats are first come first serve with the exception that any ranked player from this season is guaranteed a spot. This posting is to advertise a non-SPLeague charity game! A friend of mine will be holding a poker game on Sunday, May 26th, at 6:00pm. This game will be held in Waukesha around Sunset & Grand. Jim Nimmer his hosting this game and has played with us before. Most of you should know him. His daughter was born unable to hear and recently had surgery for cochlear implants. Because Jim has been blessed with good insurance through his job, a large financial portion was covered. Because of this he'd like to hold an event where he can raise money to donate to a cochlear implant charity. The money donated will go to a family that is struggling to pay for such a surgery. This game will consist of a $40 buy-in. %50 of the pot will be donated to charity, and the other %50 will go towards payout prizes. The number of players paid out for this game will be determined by the turnout for the game. Due to start time of the Packer game on Jan. 12th, the start of the season opener poker game will be changed to 7pm. The game will no longer be starting at 8. This way no one will have to be traveling in the middle of the Packer game. The game will of course be displayed in it's entirety. So make sure you wear your favorite Packer gear to support your team. See you guys next week...
