First Season Comes to a Close

Sharp November 13, 2011
After last nights exciting game determining the final slots of the championship game, this first season comes to a close. Congrats to Kyle for sliding into the 9th spot. Hope you all had fun this year, and hope to see you all next year. The championship game will be taking place on Dec. 10th, and the results of that game will be posted afterwards. There will also be a vote shortly after the final game where players can vote on who they feel is the player of the year. Coming up for the next season, you will see many changes to the website, as well as a few rule changes that have been proposed. A list of next seasons game dates should be up for view within the next month. Keep tabs here or at the Facebook page for further information.

One More Game This Season

Sharp October 23, 2011
Only one more game this season guys! Nov. 12th and the open season comes to a close. This has the potential to be quite an interesting game. The point difference between 9th and 12th are small enough that any of those 4 players could walk away with the last remaining spot for the championship game in Dec. For those of you that won't be able to qualify for the championship game, this will be your last chance at a SPL game until next year sometime in January. Hope to see you all in Nov.!

Bottom of Top 9 Still Open With Two to Go

Sharp October 2, 2011
We have two games left this season folks and there's still a fight brewing for that 8th and 9th spot in the standings. Looks like this one is gonna come down to the very end. The difference between 8th and 9th in the standings is just under 3 points. More exciting though, the difference in points between 9th and 10th place right now is only eight one hundredths of a point! Though not to be forgotten is the fight still going on in the top of the standings. The difference between 1st and 2nd is just over a quarter of a point. Also all slots in between 1st and 5th are almost neck and neck. With only 2 games to go, it should be a interesting finish in the standings. October 22nd, and November 12th. That's all we've got left for the year guys. See you all there!

Four Games Left This Season

Sharp September 12, 2011
The first season is starting to come to a close. There are only four games left! Looking over the current standings, it appears the 7th, 8th, and 9th slot are still attainable by multiple people that are just out of the top 9. Don't forget, just because you may not be eligible for the final game of the year doesn't mean you still can't play in the last four games. You can still take down the pots for those individual games. See you all at the next one on Sept. 24th!

Six Days Until the 2011 Adam Game

Sharp August 21, 2011
The 2011 Adam Game is in just 6 days! I can't wait. Hope to see you all there! Don't forget this one starts at 6pm! This one could be a big points game that could shuffle things up quite a bit in the season standings. Just on a side note. If this game is the first game of the season for anyone, there are still enough games left after the Adam Game for you to qualify for the season free roll. Doors will be officially open at 4pm. See you all on Saturday!

SPL Website Online in Beta Format

Sharp May 3, 2011
SharpsPokerLeague.com is now running live in beta form. Multiple sections are not yet complete. The design is also in beta form and will not properly adjust on a widescreen monitor. I'll finish everything in due time. What is important is that all stats and game information (overall, season, and individual player) is correct.
